Thread regarding Bass Pro Shops layoffs

Is retaliation a thing here?

I have an issue with my manager and I need to know if I take it to HR will there be a chance of retaliation in return? Has anyone gone to HR and had their issues resolved? For that matter, has anyone gone to HR and then nothing was done about their issue? I’m actually thinking of taking it to the EEOC but I want to get it resolved in-house first.

You're better off taking that person out back and giving a good beat down rather than waste yourbbresth with HR.

Exactly right.. HR is no friend in a Private company as they tamp down complaints so they never make to higher levels. Call ownership yourself. The number is 800-Capital 1. Johnny is the Founder, nothing more these days.

Here’s some advice, HR is not your friend. There sole purpose is to protect the company. This is even worse when it comes to basspro considering it’s a private company.

We (a lot of us) met with higher up HR and our “co” manager is still here and hasn’t changed a bit.

I filed a complaint with Local HR and her boss. It’s been two years never called back never resolved. They do what they want and get away with it.
