This has been a sort of on-and-off thing, going back to late 2019. I recall that they hired the big consultancies last year (i.e McKinsey, BCG etc.) to write up a new org and such. There are some things in IT that can be outsourced, but we're still a company with a lot of legacy tech, with in-house knowledge being a critical component. Also there's someone on the ELT who came out a few months ago and said that by 2024, McK is to become a tech company. Well this won't happen if everything gets outsourced! So not too sure if this will fully go through. That said all of is in Tech & ISRM need to be on the look out as we could be heading into some rough waters pretty soon...
