New FHFA director? Any impacts to GSE's?

From latest Supreme Court ruling today, it appears new FHFA director will be in place shortly. Do you see how this will impact overall FHFA strategy and any impacts to Fannie at exec level (CEO/President, etc.)? https://www.wsj.com/articles/supreme-court-issues-mixed-ruling-on-government-seizure-of-fannie-freddie-profits-11624459222

I've been at Fannie Mae for awhile now and before the current director Calabria I rarely heard the executives at Fannie Mae even mention the FHFA. Calabria was working hard to tighten up the GSE's and get them out of conservatorship. Now, I'll imagine Biden will insert a Maxine Waters type in that position and the GSE's will continue their prior gluttonous behavior for the next decade until it implodes again...If that's the case then bring back the VEP please!!
