No way you say. Not in this job market. They would be insane to do it now. That is precisely why these psychos are likely planning it. No better way to keep the sheeple down than to keep them scared. Think this job market gives you leverage in negotiations for raises and promotions? Think again. They wouldn’t bat an eye to let go of some people to prevent having to compensate you fairly. What would they care anyway? You’ll be the one picking up the extra slack. They don’t care if a few people with spines won’t put up with it and leave. They have most right where they want them. Trapped by their own financial blunders that makes them need the job more than the company needs them.

Bahaha. You think these people work off logic??? They are fueled by evil and greed.
They’re not laying off anytime soon. They spooked too many good people with the covid fiasco who’ve left for greener pastures. They have a huge issue retaining talent. Not going to scare off what’s left.
I see the spell check boot li---r has arrived. Probably has lots of practice reviewing management writing in an attempt for them to try not to look incompetent. Too bad they freely open their mouths.
It is spelled 'imminent', not 'eminent'.
