I’m a previous rmbc employee and went to a competitor. I’d get out.

In auto claims we are short staffed in liability and in writing estimates. Too many people let go last year abd now they can’t find anyone to come back and/or qualified candidates .

Hey av1 - I'm in rmbc. Job went from overworked with 3 chats at a time non stop 300 plus agents holding at a time from December -february after layoffs to now it's slow and have 0 or 1 chat a lot of times with no one holding. We usually are supposed to have 2 when staffed correctly. Of course I love it but I wouldn't be surprised if allstate targeted us

I’ve heard the same from two separate sources. However, the timing is either unknown, or has yet to be determined.

What department are you in?

I'm in claims and with last years purge and people resigning daily, we are swamped.

With that being said, heard claims processors are on the block for RIFs. Anyone have any news about this? Figure they will be let go and jobs going to India sooner rather than later.

Management is so non-transparent with news it's not even funny.

I wouldnt be surprised. The area I work in has been overstaffed the last few months and a lot of time I sir idle waiting for chats. It's crazy because I'm December allstate let too many people go and we were short staffed and now are overstaffed
