@akzz+1c23dEzv. Its a proven fact that 10% of CEO's are Psychopaths/Sociopaths. This doesn't mean they have bodies in their basements. It does mean they care absolutely zero about other people.
Based on my interactions with CEO's, I believe 10% to be ridiculously low.
In fact the #1 job title of Psychopaths is CEO.
Read the book "The Psychopath Project" by Jon Ronson, who also did "Men who stare at Goats."
I guarantee you MH sleeps quite soundly at night
I just than God that I'm not MH. I could not live with myself.
The only CEOs I remember were Dave W and Joe D who were both amazing. Ronn D who can’t be faulted for taking the huge buyout as Thomson made out like a bandit and The current Chancellor.
The only GM I can think of was a CTO.
I worked at Gale for 3 years in FH. They were the biggest bunch of burned out buffoons I’d ever encountered.
The executive team was wildly overpaid and thought they were running Google.
The CEO whose initials were GM was a total creep.
Diversity is our strength
At Gale we felt that although team members core competencies were strong we needed to empower workers so that they would buy in to our new models. While all of our teams are scalable our best practices should also encourage everyone to think outside the box.
Cengage Unlimited has gotten us over the wall and is a wonderful solution for our customers. However, we need to do more with less to take CU to the next level so that we can have an impact on our inside and outside customers.
Cengage is a bleeding edge company in that we are defining a new industry while our “competition” is still trying to come up with a way to compete fully with us.
This was a Gale thing when they brought the Agile consultants in. Everyone who worked outside of software development used the jargon and tried to mimic the workflow without understanding why. It was pretty comical.
