Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Writing on the wall - 'Winter is coming'

Fellow co-workers, start applying outside if you have not already. There is a high probability of massive layoffs in the next 6 months. Only if the board decides to remove DavidH, it may give a bit of time but that will not happen right away.

I see that he will be forced to improve the returns to shareholders and will need to drastically cut expenses. Also unlike someone said in other threads, management won't be impacted as much. Most of them know how to save themselves in these situations.

The writing is on the wall. Don't be blind or be a fool.

"These days the CEO is the face of the company for employees and customers, and the COO should be running the ship. Letting him lead was a huge mistake."

Are you F'n insane? I couldn't imagine Schmitz leading roaches out of a paper bag, much less leading the entire company. Now with his somewhat long hair, he looks like "The Witcher" only shorter a skinnier.

I think DH is a good leader, but he should probably not be CEO. He was good at running the books and he also is a very approachable person. Citrix needs a a true Tech CEO to drive us into the future. We need strategic ideas/decisions and not ideas that build on legacy products.

DH does try to make the employees happy, but he also has to keep investors and the board happy. When it comes down to it, if the board/investors decide to reduce by 10%, then the workforce will be reduced by 10%, despite any feelings DH has about it.

I don't mind David H, remember all this stupid started with Mark F and those people he brought in. The downfall started with Mark F, I hope he gets kicked out.

DH needs to be booted out if there is to be any hope for this cluster fu---d up disaster of a colossal mess. Many people are going to loose their jobs, their livelihood and their dignity in the upcoming layoffs starting in August.

David Henshall is just so damn BORING. They made a huge mistake letting him takeover because he was “next in line.” He has no idea how to inspire or keep talent.

These days the CEO is the face of the company for employees and customers, and the COO should be running the ship. Letting him lead was a huge mistake.

Can anyone say MONOTONE?
