The majority of the people laid off are over the age of 50 but they feel they covered themselves by publishing the ages and department.. they could nit RIF anyone because they never did mid year performance reviews or objectives. The only saving grace ...one of the people that had to lay us off lost his position and will be doing “special projects” ... this Company is a mess and if Techflow was smart they would run as fast as they can.., 2 sales in 2 years is a good indication they are a poor investment.
18/30 were over the age of 50. I really feel for the person who got laid off at 65, if they were counting on a pension.
@OP+1c9D1vkZ What do you mean "could not RIF anyone" , the layoff notice says RIF in the first sentence.
Also, what do you mean "lost his position"? He got a demotion/pay cut and a title change to save company $$? Or is part of the koolaid club, so he didn't get laid off.
What's Techflow got to do with it?
