When I got laid off, I thought it was a disaster and I was very worried about what to do next because I was not prepared. I didn’t expect it because I was giving my best and I was doing the best I could. It's over and now I have a job that is better in every way than the job here was.
If I hadn’t gotten layoff, I might still be working at this ridiculous company. I just stopped to say this, in case any of you are worried and think there are no other options. Yes, there are other options, just never let the UPS squeeze you out completely before it gets rid of you.

Where are you finding new jobs for the same pay?
For the first time in over 15 years, I was able to spend lots of time with my family during Christmas and did not have to work a single weekend. Those big MIP bonuses were not worth the stress, anxiety and time consumption that working for such a peak-heavy company entailed. Leave UPS in the dust if you can.
Best thing to happen to me too. I have a job making about the same money, but working way less hours and experiencing way less stress. UPS isn't worth it anymore.
Really glad to hear this! May I ask what role you were in?
So glad to hear that you’re doing well! Congratulations!!!
