You guys can consider moving to Singapore. Great team over there.

"On 9/30, trucks were lined up emptying the remaining stuff in the building - "

Would this also include the personal tools and items that Halliburton would NOT allow the former employees to retrieve AFTER the facility was closed?

Oh, BTW, how long before Duncan Manufacturing is sent overseas?

"With Carrollton gone, HCT will begin a death spiral."

So true, the personnel that built and then ran completion/service tools required more than the rudimentary 'skills' that the NEW Halliburton is now content to pay for.
The NEW Halliburton wants only the low skilled 'throwaways'' that have no chance of advancement, will work for minimal wages and benefits, and will NEVER consider making a career of their job.
Instead Halliburton wants to automate as much as possible, turning over as much responsibility as possible to "technical professionals" (engineers) working from remote centralized facilities as far as possible from the dirt and grime of life on location.
Logging, Production Enhancement, and Directional Drilling allows Halliburton to dazzle the customer with all kinds of digital displays, often without the need to expose the customer's engineers and office personnel to the nastiness of the real world of mud, dust, snow, and dangers of the work site.

The latest rumor is that the property was bought by a logistics company and the buildings will be leveled. On 9/30, trucks were lined up emptying the remaining stuff in the building - the stuff that didn't sell at auction.

All production is now in Singapore. Those guys are freaking awesome, picking up the slack.

Well, IF Montrose has also been closed, ALL the production has been moved to Singapore.

Or, perhaps to The People's Republic.

Given Halliburton's descent into medeocricty, does Halliburton even make REAL completion tools like OTIS once made, how about service tools, or is Halliburton content to manufacture only frac plugs?
