Thread regarding Follett layoffs

They look clueless

I’ve been here a long time and I’m sad that a company where it used to be really nice to work has now reached the rock bottom. I am frustrated with the leadership because they do not instill in me any confidence that they really care about saving this company, preventing cuts and further decline.
I wish I wasn’t right but it seems to me that they are indifferent and uninterested in making some good moves and trying to save what can be saved?

So true - I had way more knowledge then the person brought in to manage us.
Once I pushed back something that was against policy - I found myself out the door.
Looking back, it was the best thing for me, no one wants to work for an A ho-e.

Thank you to whomever admitted that experience was cut 10 years ago. I think it's time to sink the ship. These AHs have hurt themselves by being so greedy and heartless in that culling. Time for quiet Anarchy....let it burn, he-l...lite the damn fire already!

I completely agree. This company has lost its capabilities-the upper ranks, the outsourced IT department, etc. Most horrifying is the ineffective and out-of-touch technology. 24 hours for an ebook to show up. Really?!

I don't know why that is, but if you are extremely good at your job, you are perceived more as a threat than an asset. God forbid you insult one of the superior thinking supervisors or managers with a thought or an idea and try to outshine the master and illuminate their stupidity. I've seen rock stars at Follett get beaten down to the point of resignation.
