Thread regarding Sysco Corp. layoffs

Accountability

Do you think after Bertrand and Hourican will take any responsibility for the mess they have made since March 2020 . After a knee jerk reaction massive layoffs early in pandemic we now don’t have enough employees to run our OpCo! Customer after customer all over North America aren’t getting their orders filled what does that cost .I guess we shouldn’t be surprised neither one has had to actually run an OpCo .

I respectfully disagree Bertrand rode the coat tails of Chuck Staes in Chicago and I’ve never spoken to anyone who has heard an original idea from him . He is a polite henchman who only has his own career interests in mind

I don’t think Bertrand is worried about his job. He’s literally the only one left who knows what the he-l Sysco does. If you’ve ever talked to him, he gets it, probably better than anyone. Hourican and his new hires are a bunch of wokes who have ruined this company. #bringBeneback

I think the way it works is a young analyst writes a white paper on how to cut cost he then gives it to Nelson Peltz who gives it to Hourican who gives it to Bertrand who lives in fear of his own job so he makes the cuts . Main thing at our company now seems to be cover you a-s regardless of the consequences

And they're not done reorganizing. Next is inventory control and profit management. Everything is going to be regionalized. Spread the love, I mean work.
