VMware rarely lays off just 15 employees. Something tells me another much bigger round could be coming our way if not this week, then the next. Unless I'm wrong and small-scale layoffs have been happening for a while now without me noticing, which I think is unlikely.

Isn't there supposed to be a technical team and a business team and a legal team that reviews the purchases before they are finalized? Did any process failures or checks and ballences break internally?
ENI is the new name of one of these terminal startups that was acquired in March/April 2020. Its former name is Nyansa.
Ashwin disappeared. His accounts are deactivated.
The ENI managers are under investigation and soon to be frozen. That is for Krist$$in, Murt$$za, Marv$$n D@n.
Their toxicity, hostility, bossiness, ego, sabotage, incompetence, favoritism has become too obvious to ignore.
Look at ENI: since last year, how many new customers? What features added?
Ashwin was sugar-coating them now he is gone.
Sanjay Uppal is in charge to clean up or cause bigger mess.
D-mb question here, but what does "ENI" stand for?
I was witness to a forced administrative leave and HR investigation a little more than a year ago on a co-worker. They and another employee of the opposite s-x got themselves into a very compromising mess during a business trip. It took a couple of months for the investigation to complete, but they were eventually assigned to other roles far away from each other but both kept their jobs. I wonder how often such a thing happens at a big company like VMW. It would be interesting to work on the HR investigative team.
Ashwin is on unofficial paid administrative leave.
Oh my god, he's on double secret probation!
Yes. Ashwin is on unofficial paid administrative leave. Pending investigation into his conduct (along with all managers under him direct and indirect).
This is big and can lead to major reorganization. Especially the ENI managers who proved incompetent for the job.
Did you people see what just happened? Ashwin was forced on time off by Sanjay as a > result of these efforts.
It seems hard to believe that you were told that he was put on forced time off.
No one should post the PDF links publicly.
If the pdfs have been provided anonymously to people's phones, they can be posted, as they are now in the public.
If you are employed, however, you probably should not do so.
Did you people see what just happened? Ashwin was forced on time off by Sanjay as a result of these efforts. We just received the email today.
Kudos to all employees who stood up against racism and favoritism.
Let’s see the next step regarding the incompetency of ENI management.
This is a big win and it is just the start of this fairness battle.
No one should post the PDF links publicly. They are sent to certain people. HR and a few entities at VMware have received them. Hence, all these events are happening.
Why did you think HR sent the anonymous survey with specific questions of promotions and hiring. That was Ashwin’s ki---r.
Let’s see if the stolen money and promotions will be given to people who deserve.
Let the fight begin.
Kudos to all
I just received a text message today with links for PDF files including
Why don't you post the links as proof?
Where did I see the topic of Ragu’s email of diversity and inclusion.
This is big. I just received a text message today with links for PDF files including detailed information of what is called “systematic racism and favoritism” at VMware.
First, I don’t know how the he-l they got my cell number. But whoever this is, THANK YOU.
I feel included in this effort unlike my current manager (who is Indian and works literally against me every day) because I am mot Indian and I don’t say yes to him when he say stupid d-mb stuff.
From what I've seen the incompetency is worst at the highest levels of "leadership".
Absolutely, the culture wouldn't have cratered if the highest leaders were paying attention and actually doing things for the good of the company.
"The incompetency of First Line Managers is disgusting." is an interesting comment. From what I've seen the incompetency is worst at the highest levels of "leadership". Some of the front line managers still seem to care, but all of them are shackled by the bureaucracy and politics.
I would be curious to know how they selected who will receive the culture surveys. I bet they picked the ones most likely to tell them what they want to hear.
Managers leaving have been denied backfills if the next level manager doesn't have at least 7 direct reports. Not quite a layoff but definitely eliminating the middle manager roles.
