Does anyone know the current severance package? I've heard rumors that it has been cut dramatically, but haven't seen anything in writing. When CA was acquired it was supposedly 40 weeks. I'm not sure if that still stands or not. I guess I'm truly naive, but I'm actually shocked that a company that just had two of its best years in history is still trying to suck every penny out of employees while demanding more and more out of them every day.

Companies can give whatever they want so only execs know for sure and you won't find out until it happens. IBM once honored 1 paycheck and year and then all of a sudden let go 20-30+ employees with only 2 weeks of severance.
is it a written company policy and guaranteed 1 paycheck per year of service?
1 paycheck per year of service. CA was up to 26 paychecks and Broadcom is 20. I want to get a layoff so bad but it won't happen they make you miserable enough to quit
