They continue to stall stating employees due severance payouts are still being reviewed. Nevermind they're out of bankruptcy. My claim stands as Asserted, and yesterdays response to when I can expect payment was as follows: Thank you for your inquiry.

The status of your claim, Claim #, remains "Asserted," the initial status assigned to all claims upon filing. Claims are currently being reviewed on a rolling basis; you will be notified of any change in the status of your claim via the address provided on your claim form. We do not currently have more specific information regarding the time frame for payment of allowed claims.

You may continue to monitor the progress of the case here:

PLEASE NOTE: Prime Clerk is the appointed claims and noticing agent for The Hertz Corporation’s chapter 11 cases.

In other words, Hertz Screwed you and is in no hurry to do anything. Maybe we need to get a forum and look into class action. Although not like the CA suit where Arelene Green called them out on violation of the WARN act, took $10K and left the rest of us to get $216 in lieu of 60 days pay.

I hear that major labor lawsuits are coming additionally the EEOC has its eyes on major sanctions and penalties for violations of labor, cobra and dozens of other abusive labor behaviors by Hertz so be advised future job applicants avoid at all cost being employed by these companies who gave the shaft to its essential workers after working the entire pandemic without hazard pay
