Citrix making Covid vaccines mandatory - many leaving in responce

Citrix is making it mandatory to be vaccinated unless you have “medical” or “religious” reasons not to BUT despite those variables, they will still require employees to be vaccinated if you go to a Citrix office, attend meetings, events, or travel - and there are no 100% remote positions that don’t require travel, events and company meetings - so in other words, despite any legitimate reasons you have to not get vaccinated, if you aren’t vaccinated you won’t have a job. I don’t care what people do or don’t choose to do when it comes to the vaccination. That’s their business. I just can’t believe any company could get away with turning a medical choice into a “mandatory requirement”. I know people who are vaccinated that are leaving on principal and others who are leaving because they refuse to be forced into a medical decision they are personally against in order to keep their job. What will they be able to mandate next? - Not sticking around to find out! Plenty of competitors out there who are smart enough to stay out of employees personal business.

A private company requiring vaccination is good. It does not impinge on Civil liberty. It is like someone requiring visitors to take their shoes off when they visit.
As for the person who had Covid - you probably do have immunity, but you should still get vaccinated. As for not caring if others don't get vaccinated... Here are my thoughts. If people don't get vaccinated and get infected and die, that's Darwin in action and I don't care about losing some id--ts. What is important to realise, is that the more hosts a virus has the more likely we are to have new variants... that is how we got the delta variant, which is so infectious..... Perhaps the next variant will not just be more infectious but resitant to vaccinations and more deadly.
Get the vaccine and stop believing the nonsense being spread. Don't believe in anything. Go and try to understand it. The science is strong and the side effects are minor.

This post is such BS. No, Vaccines are not mandatory and many are not leaving on response. Vaccine requirement is mainly for those who want to work from a Citrix office and absolutley no one is being forced to do so. There has been no company events or team meetings requiring physical presence since the pandemic started. More importantly, this was decided by the employees through a survey were an overwhelming majority voted in favor.

Imagine a vaccine so effective that those who've received it fear those who haven't.

Theoretically, it is possible to purchase counterfeit vaccination cards.

The trolls on this board will use any excuse to try make Citrix look bad.

Citrix is far from the only company mandating vaccines, and most companies have a lot stricter policy. He-l, even Fox News is requiring it now.

Good luck with your new job for GAB or 4 Chan or whatever other right wing cesspit is going to be willing to hire the unvaccinated.

Fk all the co—su—-king management from this inces—our pile of degenerate shi-.
Get rid of all these corrupt VPs and directors will only help if they also get rid of their bottom feeder suc-ers all the way down to the manager level. otherwise their corruption will just be resurrected in the form of their long-time proteges and we are back to the same dry hum—-ing incompetence that is Shi—rix.

I would like to see proof that all the VPs, managing directors, directors and all managers show proof of their vaccinations before even considering the jab.
The incompetent clown car management of this circus lie wholeheartedly with smiles so I don’t believe any of them until I see verifiable proof of their commitment to the executive proclamation.
The management fukers are such good liars it’s a wonder if they don’t sh--e lies out of their as--s.
Fu—k them all and Fk Shi—rix

It’s real - and not just Citrix. I’ve had the vaccine and 2nd jab but I’m extremely concerned about the implications of forced vaccination on the grounds of civil liberty. Something I don’t think has been discussed - how are they going to enforce it?

The VP and director management incompetence at Shitrix is beyond comparison in the tech industry . These guys (most are male) are more incompetent than the ‘big guy’ in the Oval Office .

Why mandate vaccine?

If you don't take it according to the experts you can only infect those who hasn't been vaccinated, so what is the problem really?

Unless the experts lie

It’s funny this site is called The Layoff - with the amount of people leaving by the day (and that’s a fact, at least in my region), there will soon be no one left let alone talking of laying anyone off!

Let's be fair for once,Most IT company share the same plan, it's nothing specific to Citrix
Starting in September, Microsoft will require employees, vendors and guests to show proof they received the Covid-19 vaccine before entering any company buildings in the U.S.

It's simple, regardless of what side you fall on. No corporate entity should have the Power to make anyone choose between their livelihood or subjecting their body to a medical treatment they are not comfortable with. For such a Woke company, this is beyond disappointing.

It is absolutely mandated as of Sept 1st. They say “only for those going back to the office” but they also have it documented that it will also be “required for any business meetings, events (and there are plenty of required meetings and events) and any business related travel(even if you are simply driving your own car). There was a huge response from Citrites at the Global Employee Meeting but leadership is trying to downplay it. I’ve personally had Covid and don’t feel I should risk a vaccination based on the medical science covering the legitimate concerns of over half the country who aren’t vaccinated. And if you are vaccinated and you believe it works, why would you be concerned about someone who isn’t vaccinated? What about natural immunity for people who already had Covid? Only makes sense to leave this as a personal choice. My body, my choice. 4 more of my co-workers left this week, and I’m looking now myself. Plenty of other companies hiring that have left this as a personal choice.

While I don’t agree with most of the decisions of our incompetent leadership - whether it’s poor strategy or ineffective execution - this one I do support whole heartedly. Probably the only right decision among 1000s of wrong ones in last few years that I can recollect. With covid cases increasing again globally, this is in the interest of everyone’s safety.

Though I wonder why the double standards here too. Our leadership keeps talking about ‘remote work’ being the future of work in blogs, promotions and TV interviews and clains of Citrix is at the forefront of leading that change, why not walk the talk? Why not make it 100% remote company? Why not trust employees to use Workspace apps to get work done remotely and be super productive ( J/k, okay this one is probably too much of a stretch).

But still why not make Citrix 100% remote? What’s the concern?

This is not exactly the truth - Covid vaccines will become mandatory if you want to return to an office but you can work from home for another few months at least . Same measures as most IT Companies

This is called natural selection, those brainwashed enough not to get a vaccine are naturally selected to fu-k off.

Yes, very disappointed. I will stay remote for now and weigh my options in 6 months or whenever travel is necessary again. I dont want to get the experimental vaccine, at least not yet. Way too many side effects going on and the media is just not been honest. How can a company force an experimental vaccine is beyond me. For the very least, wait until the FDA approves it.

Post ID: @1wxp+1coDw8W3

Company will have a bunch of COVID brains on their payroll. It has been reported as a side effect. No one knows for sure because vaccine is still an experimental vaccine. At least the company will be forced to keep you employed forever because it will be hard to find a new job with COVID brain and it may be a permanent condition. And they were the ones who mandated you take the vaccine.

Yeah, it’s real. Buddy who is still there confirmed that word went out from CEO today. Another reason I’m glad I left 2 months ago after years of putting up with their garbage. That place is so unorganized, unstructured and talk about being over stressed for subpar income.
