Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I cannot wait to go into the office.

Granted, I have never been in the office before.

It will be awesome wearing a mask with everyone else wearing a mask. I won't have to bother learning to associate a name with anyone's face because their face will be covered up anyway.

I can't wait for muffled calls since everyone will be in office wearing masks. It will be great being even harder to hear foreigners with thick accents now being muffled too.
Video meetings will be even better. Everyone sitting at their desks all masked up to chat.

It's gonna be great. I'm thankful for such brilliant leadership.

This isn't all about masks, fascinating ouchies. This is about employees being hired in to FT WFH positions and then having them pulled after creating a life around it. Yes, we can get new jobs but Saul could have grandfathered us in. Me personally, I'm suing

I'm deaf in one ear, therefore I have no concept of the direction sound is coming from. Not only will everyone sound muffled, but I'll have no idea who is speaking since I will not be able to see moving lips. Way to support your employees that experience deafness!

Are foreigners the only one with thick accents? Do you work with any native Americans or all foreigners?

I miss all the doom and gloom office gossip. Oh, wait, I can get that here!

I also cannot wait. I’ve been missing the shenanigans.

I miss bringing in cheap bags of popcorn, putting them in microwave for five minutes and never returning, so they burn nicely.

I miss microwaving salmon, oh what a joy those days were!!

Who can forget playing musical beverage containers with people’s drinks or yogurt in the fridge. Don’t steal it, just move it around.

Popits on the toilet seat? Classic!!!

Take all the tp off the roll except a square or two? Hah!

Oh man, i can’t wait!!!!

Going though that giant list, most of it is wrong, lots of it misleading, without context, and some of it appears to be just made up.

It's not worth the time to correct/annotate every statement that person makes.

Just don't get your medical advice from randos on the internet, especially ones clearly wearing tin foil hats.

This will sound insulting, sorry in advance, but if you don't accept science, which is almost all math at the end of the day, maybe a bank isn't a good place for you to work.

Right or wrong on the COVID facts, this is NOT the place to get your medical advice.

Ever.

The end.

On ROT day, we are trying to organize a company-wide p-t-luck buffet in all hub locations along with lots of coffee provided by the leadership team. Coffee and food make people collaborate more, so we have been asked to include a white board in the room to jot down all the ideas that come from the informal conversation that takes place while people scoop and eat their food.

I'm curious what a Venn diagram would look like made of people that supported the War on Te---r and the Patriot Act and people that think the Govt. is infringing upon their rights by asking them to wear a mask during a global pandemic.

For people relying on the VAERS database, please note that's a user submitted database.

So if I get a jab, and then have an issue, something that I would probably have anyway without the vaccine, I can still report it, and people who don't know how to read will post it on this website saying the vaccine is poison.

From the FAQ - "VAERS is a passive reporting system, meaning it relies on individuals to send in reports of their experiences to CDC and FDA. VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem"

The numbers there are NOT verified and are NOT scientifically proven, because until you get to a doctor and he says "you already had windmill cancer" or "the vaccine gave you windmill cancer just this morning", the VAERS database site is just a big internet comments section.

This is the internet people, you can check things.

Wear your mask and get your shots, please, so I can get concert tickets without wondering if the show will be cancelled because not enough people understand high school biology.

I requested new badge. They should schedule check in time so that several people do n't go at the same.

But wait, there's more...

  1. ) Neighborhood seating where folks can share nose picking offerings on keyboards and mice.
  2. ) Finger prints on displays.
  3. ) Gas station like rest rooms.

Yes, the leadership values you.

Take off your mask. Get punched by a co-worker. Video it.

Get it on YouTube. Retire in a rural setting in a trailer.

Live the dream

I'm sure the cloth masks WF provides will work just like the ones the hospital uses!

But wait, there’s more! Everyone also gets a special COVID-19 RTO package. Unfortunately, due to expenses, the package had to be reduced to only include the virus itself.
