Here they go again. Cabot c suite has been talking out of both sides of their mouth. On one side, they thank their employees for all the hard work and dedication through the past couple years... "We couldn't do it without you..." while the other side is making a deal with Cognizant to outsource the very people who moved mountains to automate and streamline processes so Cabot could do more with less resources. There has already been a great loss of knowledge with moving their shared service center from the U.S. to Latvia and getting rid of an entire department that bridged the gap between IT and the user community. At some point customers are going to be negatively impacted by this company's inability to see beyond short term gains. Time will tell.

The IT group being outsourced are the same group that allowed for a successful WFH transition. And Cabot thanks them by outsourcing their positions to an MSP. Terrible business practice. But not a big surprise. ExCo profits trumps all.
