Thread regarding Marathon Oil Corp. layoffs

How much does your workload grow on a monthly basis?

My workload is doubled and there is more and more work to be done every day. I’m not complaining because I love my job, but it’s getting more stressful. The load is too big. At the same time, some have almost nothing to do and getting a paycheck has never been easier for them.

It don’t grow, I have it together, it’s all good! I will leave “busy” for the special people.

Are you a grow-er or a show-er? At work, you always want to be a show-er. MRO management is a bunch of peaches ... am I right?

It all depends on how much more I know than my boss and how insecure he tends to get about it.

Mine has grown about 2 inches with the last year, but my load is about the same. More with less.

I’ve always had a big load. So I’m use to it.

I hear you, op. Doing more with less is the flavor of the day.

But in my experience, it's waaaay better to have too much work than too little work. It means you're tougher to let go.

In my experience, those who say they're "so busy" usually don't have much going on. I don't have time to type anything else because I'm ... well, you know.
