BPX not ranking employees correctly

Is anyone else having issues getting the company to properly rank them in their letter grade? My performance level and experience level does not match with my grade level and I'm being given BS answers as to why they will not improve my rank. My manager lied and said I have not been doing certain things to warrant a letter grade improvement and when I sent them multiple examples of where I have been exceeding those requirements they went silent.

It seems like only the family connected and friends get promoted. This is very unethical. I'm seriously considering leaving.

It looks like BP has tasked someone with responding on these boards. They don't want the truth coming out and they could care less about their employees.

All you have to do is read through all of the experiences on this site and a trend instantly pops out.

Instead of reading and listening they just try and justify their horrible company culture by personally attacking people's integrity. True integrity is keeping great people from making a bad decision regarding their contemplation of a career here. Prices are improving and the good people will begin to leave with more options.

Just like you said, nobody at this company cares about their employees.

I came from another operator to BP a few years ago and one of the many things that perplexed me was the lack of in role promotions. It really makes it impossible for you to become an SME and further your career. That's the boat I am in anyway. Try transferring to another role that will allow the leap to the next level.

I don't think anyone expects a role promotion at the drop of a hat. I think they expect to be paid fairly for their work/experience level.

You guys are undercutting people on their pay.
