Thread regarding Deloitte layoffs

They do everything to make people quit

First they overloaded me with work and the pressure is huge.
Then I stopped getting information that was important for the job.

At first I thought it was just me and that I was anxious, but it seems to be a standard strategy to make an employee quit on their own? Has it happened to anyone else lately?

Yes it's so common. Take Financial Advisory practice in Toronto. Certain high profile partners well liked by juniors were forced to leave because she didn't get along with certain partners who kept propping up underperforming partners...you know what i mean. The ones who were like audit partners turned real estate partner lead in M&A with like no experience in said area -.- Then some senior partner sent an FA wide email has left and please don't ask questions about it.

Hire a lawyer and don't sign anything - ask HR for an extension. You pay HR lawyers on success fee anyway.
