WH Classic way to ring that bell. TL and his hapless cousins hate being called out. You’d think Lake Forest houses and fancy cars would sooth their fragile egos but the pain of knowing they’re frauds might just be too much.

Posting here zero dollars. Raising the anxiety on the executive area and having my nameless post pulled for ringing all the bells, priceless. BTW thanks for the series tip!

I will tell you one thing, the profits have not been anything to write to one of my four houses about for us family members. Because of the lack of performance, I had to share a jet like a peasant, trade in the Rolls for a Mercedes, and cancel the wifi on the yacht. Can you imagine how boring a 100M yacht is without wifi?!? Back to work before I have to send Jeeves to the polo club to tell grand pappy of your lack of dedication. That is all.

It is sheer entertainment. Ever seen the show Succession? It parallels our lives here at Follett. They’ve got a drunken fool family member running the company into the ground. We’ve got a drunken fool family member running the company into the ground. They’ve got useless money grubbing family members living off the largess. We have useless money grubbing family members living off the largess. They’ve got aged family members that can’t believe what KR did to their once successful enterprise. We’ve got aged family members that can’t believe what TL, BF and the other insiders did to their once successful enterprise. Retaliation, retribution, revenge and more someone optioned the family story. Pretty good chance the profit on it exceeds the profit this sinking ship has produced in recent years.

I don’t believe that you are family, but a troll. If you are, it does not sound like you are in the business, so let’s have some initials of your name. What do you have to lose unless TL is your uncle or dad.

Okay, 5th gen family member here. @3zbk+1dEuoLU5 is spot on. TL maneuvered his way into his spot and its clear he has no business being there. Its sad to see my family legacy sold before I even had a chance to have an impact. Ill walk away from this with nothing but sadness over what TL has done.

  1. We can't post our store numbers on here because the post will get taken down.
  2. How does e-mailing students about subscribing to Morning Brew help bring in sales to our store?
  3. What is the point of trying to insult someone by calling him a woman? It's good for you that you are staying anonymous because you would probably get fired for that comment.
  4. If you read any of the posts below, stores are having financial trouble because they do not have merchandise to sell. If Follett isn't paying, that is not on the stores.
  5. The performance of COLLEGE stores has no effect on the sale of B&T or FSS.
  6. If FHEG does get sold, you are probably out of a job while store people like us will probably keep our jobs long enough to prove that it was somebody else's fault.

How about some of you have courage and put your store number. Would love to check your profitability. Let me guess, it’s everyone else’s fault you are negative. I am sure you got all your adoptions in on time, got an updated email list for marketing, ensured your links were not broken… you know, things that drive sales. Stop being a puppet and do what makes your store money so your store is not closed and not what “Brendan” of Follett tells you… I guess it would be “Brenda”.

How much longer until we hear what is the fate of FHEG? I think it is a matter of weeks. The family is cashing out.

My store is fairly well gutted. Customers constantly comment on how we need more product. Being shown up by the college setting up it’s own shop during games. Not a good look Follett not a good look. It’s embarrassing to work here. Yes I know a lot of companies are dealing with issues but if it’s true about credit holds then that is partially to blame for lack of product.

Well the Website looks like it was designed in 2008. Really didn't try to do much with it did they

Post ID: @4cwz+1dEuoLU5

I have also called vendors looking for orders long past ship dates, so many on credit hold. Unfair we can't make our sales numbers due to lack of merchandise. Once again, managers take the hit of no bonus opportunity.

Post ID: @4kfr+1dEuoLU5

Yeah it's insane. We've been out of some products for 6 months or more. I don't believe that it's solely due to supply chain issues. I think that's a really convenient excuse.

by
|
Post ID: @3kdt+1dEuoLU5

Just hoping they pay the vendors so we can get some GM in the stores.
Vendors aren't shipping due to the excuse we keep hearing, supply chain issues, No, it is because we are on credit hold with most of them.
I called many vendors to check p.o.status-all on hold.

TL destroyed our once decent company. He used his family stock holdings and his dads naivety as leverage to install himself as Chairman a position that was way out of his depth and then he used CT (d-mbo) and the other mo--ns to render three CEOs in a row useless causing the company to have to pay them to leave and fouling up every decision the company made along the way. Then worked his same duplicitous game to place himself into the CEO role so he could finish the job of ki----g a 120+ year old American success. How much money did we lose on his purchase of B&T and the sale last week? I’ve heard it was more than 100 million. How does he sleep at night while many of us in the remaining nightmare FHEG clean up our resumes and look for something new?

follett was founded in 1873, during the 2nd Grant administration. The family was able to negotiate the end of reconstruction, several pandemics, the Spanish American War, two world wars, countless police actions, several depression and recessions. For more than 100 years they successfully adjusted their business model to meet the challenges of their day.
This group hasn't done so well. They failed to see the evolution of the business. They failed to adjust to changing technology. They failed to market to a free marketplace instead of dictating to a captive market. They failed.
TL and his follett cousins have failed. Like the election of 2020, the truth is plain to see. Some choose to refuse to see the truth.

1jdw+1dEuoLU5 we were actually waiting for one of you Folletts to come to this nightmare company and your own defense. You have built and run businesses? The fourth and fifth generation didn’t build a thing. TL may tell fun stories of starting his own business and selling it to Follett and now he’s the big boss but we all know the only thing he did was be born to a Follett. He’s taken that gift and wasted it losing this company more money than anyone in its history and finally presiding over the dismantling of a 120+ year old company. His dad married a Follett or he wouldn’t have gotten a job running the local grocery store. Spare us the trash talking of the very people Follett family members stepped on in order to live lavish lives while failing this business. Even as you cash in you’re stepping on those of us doing the grunt work. Somehow you think failing to leave an abusive relationship is worse than the privileged abuser themselves. Sure. Whatever you say.

The 5th generation built nothing. They broke down what was handed to them on a silver platter. It’s all started with TL, the black sheep of the 4th generation. He’s a drunk and a dolt driven by vanity. We all make fun of him in the education world. And BF, ugly Barbie, is nothing but a joke.

Wait for it folks.....Here come the chronic complainers that keep this website alive. They sh-t all over the very company that feeds and pays them....yet, because they know they can't possibly find a job anywhere else but here, they choose to stay and poison the organization they work for and make everyone miserable. Huh? Why not leave ?

Here we go - get ready for brilliance......wait for it....wait.....All the people who built nothing in their lives giving sage advice to those who have on how to run a business;)

So how long does FHEG have until it’s sold? Or do they try to coast along another year or two?

Post ID: @1sae+1dEuoLU5

This was posted nine days ago. Right on the mark. With the sale of FSS the family cashed in on the only part of the business that has been profitable in recent years. It's the only part of the business they could generate interest in. B&T has been a loser since the start. Who in their right mind puts a losing company's leadership (AK) in charge of overall day to day business? What I expect to happen is a fire sale on what remains. All the cost cutting efforts are attempts to make the numbers look better than they are. The fifth generation of the family is trying to cash in on what's left and have started their exit out of the business.

Bad moves leading to a 150 million dollar loss is TL’s at his best.

Follett sells B&T to an id--t: $50M

I think the implied IT was follett. Another sale of assets could be seen as spinning off anything of value and the shutting down the rest. It's not a leap of logic, but it has the smell of guessing.

by
|
Post ID: @ivz+1dEuoLU5

@lfd+1dEuoLU5

You are a d-mb sh*t. A sale means someone buys it and runs it, not shuts the doors. And obviously people see value in the companies. I also don’t understand any of your logic.

by
|
Post ID: @gpi+1dEuoLU5

They are going down fast. They are selling off before they file for bankruptcy so that they can pocket the money from the assets. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Don’t expect to get a notice expect the door to be locked. This company is done.

|
Post ID: @lfd+1dEuoLU5

Probably a smart decision. B&T was constantly losing money, weren't they?
