Vaccine Email - P66 Doesn’t Respect Health Freedom

Everyone just received a terribly worded email from HSE guy saying basically our company is folding like a cheap suit to the unconstitutional OSHA vaccine mandate. The email basically said we doubt the testing option will work for us so get the shot or lose your job.

Amazing thing given they made us come back in May 2020 to the office, a full 8+ months before a vaccine was even available. So the message from the millionaires on the 15th floor to all the hardworking middle class people that kept this company afloat during the pandemic is….we ain’t fighting for you, and we’re going to make you take a shot that will not prevent you from getting covid and won’t even explore an option to test which is allowable under the reg.

You can build up so much goodwill over the years with reasonable policies and you can destroy it in an instant with an email like that.

On the external job site, it now states in white letting on a red background that all new hires have to get the shot. Why is this the case when current employees don’t? Is this simply following ConocoPhillips?

Whatever the answer, shame on cowardly management.

What is really sad is that someone working for us actually believes a malodorous feeble handed befuddled placeholder in Chief being suspect in his legitimacy is also the Legislative branch or that any mandate decreed from such place of a contempt with the corrupted press, big pharma and social media scoring systems cheer leading alongside is somehow to be instantly codified into "the law"

Know that there are actual laws and due processes that must be followed to ensure that unlawful demands and government overreach are never foisted upon 'we the people' before it creates unnecessary chaos and does irreparable harm to the republic and irreversible (physical) harm to its people.

Why the illogic and coercion to submit and then the suppression of viewpoints by many established and credentialed medical professionals who disagree with the official pfizer narrative?

We now know the spike protein IS the toxin, it can now get into every organ, long term effects are unknown.

The toxic nature is dependent upon the host response along with exacerbating any existing comorbidity, whereby no accountability will ever be 100% determined to be toward the mRNA injection therapy.

Makes zero sense unless a bigger plan is at work?

Hopefully that Friday email was just a last attempt at encouraging more vaccination. I agree with the original poster that the tone of it was not encouraging.

Seems like the tide is turning on forced vaccinations with the Southwest debacle and more companies providing flexibility for their employees to test. Companies that show compassion for peoples individual health decisions will benefit in the longer run by being able to attract better candidates.

Important consideration - lots of immediate adverse reactions may be that it was improperly intravenous, if you do get the V make sure they aspirate and for %#^$& sake don't get it at CVS or Walgreens, go to medical professionals only.

I had Pfizer vax in April. What I’m reading all over the news now is that i have the same chance of catching covid as someone who’s not vaxxed, and can still spread it. The booster will temporarily reduce my 0.2% chance of death to 0.1%. Whoopdeedoo!!! Even vaccinated people need to push back on this nonsense because they will turn us into the “unvaxxed” as soon as they require the booster, and that could be coming very soon. Everyone needs to make it known this will not stand.

If the company decides not to provide a testing option, will they tell us in advance how many boosters are required over the next year or 2? If I get a vaccine that has efficacy for 6 months do I need to take another one in June or I lose my job?

Being someone who’s worked at P66 for over a decade, I have faith that most of our leadership sees how ridiculous these mandates are and can at least understand the issues folks are tussling with when it comes to significant health decisions like these. Even though I’m sure there are some vax crazy hardliners on the ELT, I trust Greg will show the same reasonableness and common sense in complying with a potential mandate as he has over his successful career as CEO.

One thing is for sure for all the vaccinated folks (who if they got the vax more than 6 months ago), it’s about to be booster time!!! You think they’re going to stop with the unvaccinated??? If you got the jab in March you have the same immunity as someone who’s never been vaccinated. Israel ring a bell? Get ready for shot #3 once our trusty OSHA recommends it!

Tying the vaccine Mandate to your job & livelihood is immoral and anti-science… if you want it, great, but don’t force it on others. Kinda hypocritical to coerce people back into the office when there wasn’t a vaccine and the threat was high, then to coerce people to vaccinate when the threat is over.

Why are you asking for P66 not to follow Federal guidelines.

It’s going to be impossible to have all the unvaccinated get tested on a weekly basis, why should they bother because you are special. You are lucky they didn’t cut your pay during Covid. So now that Dr. Scott Gottlieb has gone on the news and called the end of the pandemic, we are forced to get a shot when we came back to work in the height of the pandemic with no issues. This is completely illogical and void of any reasonable thought for the employees of this company.

People in Midstream knew this was coming. My region has a bunch of folks who are not vaccinated but love the company and now thinking about other options. I don't think the plan to replace all the pipeline maintenance teams with drones is ready yet....

Just received the email as well. Can’t believe this company would take this path. The email didn’t even mention medical or religious exemptions. Perhaps the woke virus has infected the execs at P66 too? Will be job shopping until Jan 4.
