If one more time somebody above me tells me I "should be lucky to have a job" while they're trying to get me to do their job so they could continue to do absolutely nothing I'm going to walk out. Actually, I'm at the point where I'm seriously considering moving to another state for a job offer even though I can barely afford to just to get away from Frontier. Only here you get punished for doing a good job by being expected to do everybody else's job as well. Enough is enough.

Checkers is hiring! :-)
And as for holidays and weekends, well, seniority's seniority. We've all been there at some point.
They're the ones that aren't loaded with any jobs and d**k around all day day watching po-n on their phone, but want the holiday pay and or choice of holiday off. Tell me I'm wrong.
You realize this all stems from poor local management. Infighting is EXACTLY what they want because it keeps the focus off of their poor job performance. Every job that is loaded to one employee while another gets nothing is controlled by your local manager. If you don't believe me, find a dispatcher that isn't afraid to tell the truth and they will let you know that the jobs are allocated per the LM's instruction.
PS - if you are the guy loaded with nothing or with future jobs, don't be a di-k - call around and actually HELP the lower guys get their work done so they aren't always the ones staying late.

it's easy for the senior mofos to talk, they know there's no lay off for them. The guys with less seniority will as usual get screwed, jobs loaded for they're day, forced ot, no holidays while the senior guys laugh.
This time of the year all they talk about is their time off during the holidays. hope they have fun with their annuity when they retire. no lump sum for those id**ts

The hall outside the restroom in Allen, Texas smells like a cattle barn.

Yeah, no kidding; you should be lucky to have a job.
Hee hee.
Happy turkey day.
Buh bye! We'll miss you! :)
That's the union way... senioity trumps performance every day and in every way.
Low man on the totem pole is the whipping boy.
you signed up for it!
Just remember all those "senior mofos" used to be the guy on the bottom at one point...
I spent 4 years as bottom bi--h before someone ever got hired under me. So quit whining and put in your time; some day, if you're lucky, you can copy this post and send it to some other jaded newbie who's whining about seniority.

Frontier Allen NOC affirmative action shitehole
Instead of evenly distributing the workload, most dispatchers will simply fully load techs until there is no work left on the board; any remaining techs will either get future dated jobs or no jobs at all. Many times I've had 4-5 jobs while others are sitting back relaxing on a PMP / rehab ticket, simply because dispatch is either being lazy or being instructed to load work this way. And then the company wonders why jobs get sent back at the end of day...
I agree! I was being loaded with 4 jobs per day and 2 other techs would split the remaining 2 jobs.
