I was recently laid off and starting to see other ' silent departures' of people at ABB who are all of a sudden gone aka packaged out and showing up on LinkedIn as 'open to work'
business will shift to mexico and asia......
Not a good place to work with all of the plant closures that have happened the last few years. Managers do not follow integrity policies and those who speak up receive retaliation. 401K deposits were delayed in violation of ERISA several times in the last few years. Since new payroll system was put in place in January of 2020, City, local and state taxes are incorrectly calculated for employees. Also, Unemployment insurance and reporting to several states was not made properly since the new HR system was put in place. Executives removed guaranteed vacation time and instead put employees on a permissive leave system that requires managers to approve time. If your area of the company is too busy, you get no time off.
Not easy to hire now, will be a safe year
