What are your thoughts about potential Flowserve layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

@6kmcb Same here. I got tired of saving management from itself.
I left flowserve in May of 2022 for a better opportunity and because in the previous two years they had three layoffs and I had fears of a another wave of layoffs coming. The slave drivers have no rhyme or reason for when they hire and very minimal training is given to stop people from leaving.
They need to change the toxic environment. Management is awful.
Flowserve has about a 15 year history of layoffs hiring, layoffs. they waste more money on severance and training than they do on any thing else. they place no value in people and dont seem to care about retaining any skilled people.
There won’t be a need to layoff with people quitting like they are
Flowserve was a fairly good company to do business with; however, lately their quality and responsiveness had dropped tremendously - who knows poor management, pandemic, layoffs, or other reasons. Either way, it is a shame.
Attrition is high and the leadership is in constant turmoil. Management has no leverage. All layoffs will do is chase the few people left who actually know what they’re doing out the door.
