Complete OM team in Cork has layoff, no empathy which is really bad.
So called great resignations is happening in CDTO org under Mike, from my inside knowledge its the highest attrition ever in VMW and HR is not revealing the truth which Mike does't like to hear the truth.
The number of Directors and above leaving in CDTO team is much higher in Vmware.
Mike created a position for his man Jon to be VP strategy.
Remember both came from Bridgewater associates from the famous fraud/scam time hold positions closer to CEO/COO office.
Its same with Vmware these two are part of CFO org and something soon will happen to Vmware.

Order management was hit again. All those incremental raises for engineering and more senior director hires had to com from somewhere.

There will not be a need for layoffs this time because the grasshoppers have all sacrificed themselves.

The layoffs are not being skipped. They are rumored to be in Feb.

Layoffs this year are up in the air. A lot of people departed due to deterioration of culture at Vmware, the pandemic, and the toxicity.

So, as the reorganization of E-Staff occurs, layoffs will be decided. i doubt it will be anything significant (Aside from the usual personal retaliations by the cheap managers).

I'm surprised there aren't any new rumors. Anyone think they might skip the layoff this year?

This year, to teach people a lesson, management will lay themselves off to show that the regulars can't do a better job.
