Problem is so many late 50’s y/o in MSD have nowhere else to go…those under 50 are either incompetent or waiting for right timing. June is magic hour for CA heritage with quadrupling of RSU…some are trying to time this hoping economy and job market is strong thru end of next year. I know several in reasonably comfortable situation (manageable at least) who are waiting til end of next year…they’re working 2nd gigs while maximizing the RSU..get APB next December…then go hog wild to jump ship. It’s a risk but I know people playing it out…
leadership knows it and abuses it as they want you to leave so they can backfill…. it’s the most oppressive environment ever..land the fish stinks from the head down….
Only wild card is a complete sheet show financially….that will put a lot of pressure on division with possible layoffs starting mid next year according to sources…watch this space…
