Considering that this week opens the holiday season, does that mean layoffs are done for this year?

It’s always layoff season at GAC. If you don’t want to get laid off, leave on your own terms while the job market is good. It’s just a matter of time.
The holiday season is the layoff season.
They will use the new version of the plague to justify no raises and removing the bu-----t bonus.

I got canned the week before Thanksgiving, several years ago.
It happened a few years ago when they told us they were doing layoffs right after Thanksgiving, but chances are good they won't do it this year. There's almost 450 jobs on the board, seems like they're hurting to bring people in.
I'd like to think they wouldn't be that heartless to cut people this time of the year. Although you never know with this leadership.
