The idea of HR team being outsourced

I like the idea of HR team outsourced to a professional organization that someone mentioned. I don’t think that’s going to happen, but I believe that would solve some of the problems that GF has.
Any thoughts?
Not only do I like the idea, but I would love for it to happen.

I went to HR one time and everyone in the room appeared to be horrified that someone showed up looking for help. Nothing says we care about you like a generic @askbenefits.
My group also had an assigned HR rep which we were instructed not to go to because it was not their job to help us???

How exactly is this different than the current situation....
Worked at IBM for 15 years and HR was based in Raleigh NC. All decisions on hiring and interviewing were handled by manager and our team. At GF you have an HR team selecting resumes with no background on the needs of the hiring manager. GF HR team is zero value add.

It may not work out as well as you think.
Example IBM

Management get "HR Partners" to protect management and the company from the employees. Union busting support, how to double talk complaints, full legal team. These are highly trained HR professionals and you will NEVER talk to them.

Employees will get off shore HR. These HR people will only read you the exact legal documentation of record. You will get no advice or opinion. Your call/gripe will most likely get passed on to the Management Partner to let the manager know what is happening.
