Anyone heard anything about the Vaccine mandates with regards to Oracle employees ?, seems South West Airlines Pilots are resisting it. Be interesting to see how Oracle handles this. Surprised we haven’t had anything from HR. It was asked in a town hall recently but was quickly avoided.

If you’re under 30 and healthy don’t get the clot-shot. If you’ve had COVID, and thus have far superior anti-body protection than those who have taken the experimental clot-shot, then you’re not following the science.
Another person who has zero idea what HIPPA is or how it works. Hope you don’t work in the HCM division.

At this point with millions and millions of people vaccinated, it is quite obvious that the vaccine is not dangerous. I just had my Pfizer booster (3rd shot). No problem. Everyone in my family is vaccinated. No problems.

I think this is great! I had covid and my vaccination status is my business. If I get fired because I refuse to divulge, it would be a great lawsuit. HIPPA violation?
Of course, I have enough money to retire, so the threat of firing is really meaningless. However, I will take the "buy out."

That's because the whole topic is political and it divides people, especially in the USA. So no one wants to touch that topic because it has become divisive. This blog is supposed to be about layoff rumours so let's stay on topic and not get mired in vaccine mandate debates. Most of us are working from home, and we have been for years prior to the pandemic, so vaccine mandates are mostly irrelevant for most of us anyway.
Basically we keep being told that work from home is going to continue for quite some time. With that being the case, seems like the question of the vaccine is pretty irrelevant from the corporate standpoint.
On the other hand, you dimwits who won't get vaccinated need to quit being so fuggtarded. Keep on keeping on or whatever, but please don't seek the advice or services of any professional in any field ever again. Clearly you are such geniuses, what with your ability to somehow take five minutes of Facebook research and arrive at the truth on this matter when damn near every actual health professional who has spent a lifetime actually studying this stuff somehow arrived at the wrong conclusion. So weird how all those experts so collectively arrive at the same wrong, not your truth, conclusion. You should be able to translate that genius ability to all aspects of your existence moving forward. Need a plumber to fix that broken sewer line in the back yard? Nope, you're a genius so clearly you, and only you, could do it the right way. Need a pilot to fly you somewhere? Nope, that would be easy for you to figure out on the fly. Got cancer on your small wenis? Oncologist smoncologist, those guys can't be trusted...you can clearly manage that.
Point is that experts exist because the world is complicated. It would be impossible to be expert at much of anything, let alone everything. Case in point being most of those of us working at Oracle. We tend to be just OK or even pretty crummy in our supposed area of expertise, so thinking we can go figure it all out on something like a complicated health problem is just stupid.
Listen to the health professionals, and go get vaccinated. Or don't, and help future generations by taking yourselves out of the gene pool. It's your choice.
