I manage a few branches, been here for a long time, well before the chaotic merger. I literally have to tell clients daily why not to bank here. My day consists of branches sending me ripe clients about the same bank issues for months and years and the bank does nothing to fix them and then as a top performer they swindle me with crumby raise and say sorry meanwhile perfect review met all goals and they think I will sell anymore or drive the business. no way jose, I will no longer lie for this mess of a merger, I will agree with the angry clients because they are fully right in their grievances, and it is unacceptable. I do not understand how this bank will stay in business, they treat their clients horrible and they workers about a million times worse than their clients. I dont have a single employee who likes working here and the thought that they may quit any day scares me because it has been non stop turnover and headaches. I will be leaving any day, in the meantime I will make sure nothing sells and clients know the truth. For those who still work there, advocate for your people, pay them and reward them, support them and clients will be happy. Dont do like my managers and not give a good pool for money because there is no incentive to stay here. It is a mess and not getting better. A purpose recognition is a joke, pay your people. jean day like come on, maybe buy them jeans. Buy lunch instead of doing nothing for teammate appreciation week, my teams got food out of my own pocket the bank won't approve anything for this week what a shame.

Savvy (with two Vs) not "savy".

Oh, the irony.

@riffednhappy - It's been awhile since I worked for BB&T. Which character is the fraud televangelist that I see people referring to? KK?

Also, @riffednhappy, if your user name is accurate and you were RIFd (btw, you just need one f... Reduction in force) and you still get on this site to read and comment, you have a terribly sad life. Let it go, it's just a job.

Been with bbt for 10+, but ok. I actually use to use this site to track info on RIFs in the org. Can't really do that anymore. I try really hard to keep out of the politics of all of this and just want to know what info is out there on any reduction activity. I even made sure to include that I agreed with what was being posted here (which is true, I do) so that ppl wouldn't lose it, but folks are more fragile than I even anticipated. By all means, forget I asked and return to sh-----g on everyone and everything at all times.

Tru-lies
One of SunTruist finest no doubt. May you not get riffed and have to continue working for King Rogers and his minions at this POS bank. At least the fraud televangelist has retired and you don’t have to listen to anymore of his BS.

This site was created to generate revenue for the owners by getting as many advertisement views as possible. Employer-bashing really attracts eyeballs, so I would say most of the posts and comments are accomplishing exactly what the owners intended!

Where are the mods for this site? Most of the recent posts and comments have nothing to do with past, present or potential layoff activity. Not saying I necessarily disagree with the complaints, but not what this site was intended for.

I think the only thing worse than being a Truist customer is being a Truist employee. Place is terrible, and is run by some really bad people.
