Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

UGHHHHHHH

Why is it so damn depressing going into work? I used to look forward to the lively atmosphere and challenging work. Now everyone seems to be walking on eggshells and talking in hushed tones. Things are drab, boring and silent. After a year and a half of this I’m ready to hang it up and look for something new.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. A lot of really good, upstanding BB&T employees were done very wrong in this merger, and I feel very sorry for them. However, nearly 2 years has expired since the merger, and it has been crystal clear for at least half of that time what type of people are now running this bank.

In all honesty, I now look at the people who have/had choices, and still decide(d) to stay at Truist, in a different light. It’s one thing to be forced to work at a place where you fear for your job, it’s another to willingly decide to support an organization with undeniably warped morals.

Haaa haaa haaa glad to be gone from that circus where the left hand has never met the right hand. I would wish you good luck but luck is not what you need, good managers is what is needed but SunTruist shoved those aside or out the door.

You mean you don't enjoy spending 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, filling out huge spreadsheets created by someone who only knows one English word - "URGENT!" What's wrong with you??
