There is no point in further endangering the lives of employees who are certainly much more productive while working in a better atmosphere, that is, when they are not in the office.
Are there any insights into possibility of RTO being delayed?
In that case, I might not leave in January (but a bit later).

Kudos to those that predicted a delay.
I was surprised that the execs did the right thing.
Hmm. Nothing in the agenda about RTO. Purpose, blah, blah.
CDC now issues winter warning.
Companies delaying opening due to outbreaks everywhere.
To contribute with RTO is simply
Ignorant.
Delay
I think there will be a delay as many companies are delaying already as covid cases continue to rise especially in the NY NJ area as well as others areas. Cases are higher now then they were last year. Since met always says they have everyone's safety and health in mind... It is the only prudent decision. Ford, Uber, Facebook, apple, Jeffries already postponed their return plan and Lyft delays til at least 2023.
Met should delay for the safety of their employees.
I suspect that there might not be a delay from the Jan 10 date, but perhaps a slower start. Maybe 1 day a week "hybrid" to start.
Dec 16 LTL will be interesting, especially if Jen doesn't filter the questions as they always do.
A whole lot of you are up in your feelings over a drag show. Don't go if you don't want to go🤷🏼♀️ Your time would be better spent applying for new jobs anyway.
Oh come on! The company has not lost its way! Drag Queen Bingo was always part of the plan. It was in the Next Horizon indoctrination PowerPoint deck. You just needed to decode the message.
Drag bingo
The company has lost its way.
@6xro+1e5j3hs9 100% all the way.
Yes, LTL will be a doozy. I won’t watch I’ll get the cliff notes. Are we all prepared for 1.5% cola? Despite the company making billions in 2021. Equity inclusion does not extend to employees compensation or benefits. This company is an absolute joke. They think salaries, benefits etc are best in class - sLT is micro dosing on shrooms.
Here’s a few benefits another financial services company offers:
Student loan reimbursement
WFH financial support (internet, phone)
Child care support
Home down payment assistance
Team retreats
(No badges need to be awarded and cashed in for cr-p. Do they really think employees feel valued via badges and points?)
Metlife is has toxic culture. Starting with SLT believing they treat employees equitably with below market salaries, sub par benefits.
They are light years away from being a best in class company. In fact, they never will become one because SLT has no clue what they really need to do. Oh wait, maybe they do…it just will cost too much and we’ll can’t have that.
Dead serious, Drag Queen bingo. Wish I was kidding. So many better things that time and money could be spent on, but throw a bone at a marginalized community and it buys a ton of PR and good will.
@6rcb+1e5j3hs9 - Yes. Drag Queen Bingo on the MetLife intranet is real.
Are you all serious that they are doing this bingo? My home page never loads and I have no patience to try each browser
Wear what you want. But wait…will the DQs outfits comply with Metlifes dress code?
Why are people wasting all of their time on this RTO nonsense when there are much bigger priorities. Check your my.metlife.com site so you can sign up and join the December 9th "Drag queen bingo" session.
Not sure what the down-votes mean? Negative on the violence? Yeah, so am I.
Glad to get the info? Up-vote. Explain yourself.
Here's one talking about the bankers being asked to down-dress:
https://theworldnews.net/uk-news/bank-of-america-tells-its-workers-to-dress-down-when-they-head-to-nyc-s-bryant-park-office
Apparent the bad word filter redacted the URL. You can find it with a web search, but the dashed out letters after "ki" and before "d" should be "lle".
COVID aside, I wouldn't be too excited about RTO in New York City due to the violence.
Here's a recent one: https://nypost.com/2021/12/03/columbia-university-student-davide-giri-ki---d-in-nyc-stabbing/
One bank is telling it's employees to dress down in attempt to make them less of a target.
Ford pushes back to March, clock is ticking MetLife, when are you going to play pathetic follower and do what we already know is the right thing to do?

Google now delaying their Jan 10th RTO plan.

January will come and go.
Not likely in my opinion.
Leave now.
