So…does the message boil down to either getting fully vaccinated or get fired (US only)? Is that…legal?

I already left. I make alot more money at a company that has a future. I also got paid out on all my stock. I'm just laughing at tools like you. I'll laugh my a-s off when you get Covid--as almost all of us will with this new variant. Regardless of vaccines, boosters, isolation, masks, face shields, condoms, dental dams...
I'm begging you, Chuckles: quit and go work somewhere else, if you can find someplace that'll hire you. This company has enough problems without a mo--n infestation.
You have every right to deny science. You and your “vaccine” cult buddies keep patting each other on the back and wearing your useless virtue signal mask.
It is deniable and I deny it. I don’t know what weird YouTube channel you get your “facts” from, but you’re flat wrong in all respects. I wish you luck in your Herman Cain award campaign though.
It’s undeniable at this point. No matter how much Fauci lies, it’s all right in front of you. You don’t have to take it from me—numerous doctors including the inventor of MRNA vaccines agree. If you still want to take the jab, God bless you. No justification to force others though.
@zvmy+1e6FqzAR Everything in your point A is complete ho------t. (Except for "All the while risk not getting paid everything the company owes you." - no argument there)
Sales and marketing kids are so funny. Please find another job in lieu of getting vaccinated.
I left riverbed about a year ago so no dog in this fight. But here's another data point. FWIW attorney friend thinks companies are at risk from lawsuits by employees who were mandated to take the vax as a condition of employment and suffered debilitating side effects. She thinks the cases will turn on vax inserts and the VAERS db. Before issuing the mandates did the companies review the inserts and VAERS? If no the argument will be negligence. If yes the argument will be recklessness. And what she calls the Eichmann defense will be difficult to mount.
What, the band-aid?
Is Riverbed liable for any damages people experience from taking these covid vaccines in order to continue their employment?
You're entitled to your own opinions, but you're not entitled to your own facts. I don't know where you're getting this nonsense about people "admitting" that the vaccine doesn't reduce spread, but you're flat wrong.
This discussion gets so aggravating because people are being self-righteous and following advice, that makes no sense logically, given by complete incompetent nitwits, without question. I am specifically addressing the "don't be a spreader" comment. All of the "vaccine" manufacturers, along with Fauci, all admit that these "vaccines" do not prevent the spread. Since they don't prevent the spread (and there is no study showing they even slow the spread), what is the purpose of forcing everyone to get the jab? Forgive me for concluding that it is more about imposing your will on others just to feel strong.
The reason I feel so strongly about this is because I think the bizarre fascination with "vaccines" that have questionable benefit at best is distracting from the progress that has been made with other treatments and management methods.
Commence your labeling, name calling, and attempted intimidation in lieu of logical argument.
This isn't unique. Other companies are requiring either admission that you have not been vaccinated, proof that you have been, or no answer. Based on an employees answer this determines what is required before they can enter a company office (testing 24-hours prior to coming in limits to # of people in conference rooms, wearing masks). So you are going to see this anywhere you interview. Don't be a spreader.
Who cares. The end of this sinking boat is nearer than you think.
I’m in the process of interviewing precisely so I can gtfo rvbd. So far, all the networking companies I’ve interviewed with have some form of vaccine mandate, (or are at least warning candidates that one is coming). This is mostly driven by the federal mandate for government contractors.
Rvbd might not be doing a great job with their messaging, but if a vaccine mandate is what’s pushing you over the line, then good luck finding your next job.
If you believe the riverbed legal team 100%, then you are either naive or simply not an attorney.
My problem with this policy is the missing option for alternatives (ie swab before entering building).
If I have a severe immunodeficiency where I can’t get the vaccine, then what?
But Legal is too busy with Aternity so who cares about your moral vaccine choices.
How long until a booster is required to be considered “fully vaccinated” ? And another booster after that?
Oh boy, what a can of worms. The terms of employment are pretty clear : quote : “your employment with the Company will be at all times “at will,” meaning that either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause or prior notice.” Say, I could be fired for burping too loudly at my desk and I would have little recourse, unless of course I could prove that my burping was due to an underlying medical condition.
If you still haven’t gotten the vaccine, good riddance.
Slavery??!!?? LOL. Who said this is the place you have to work?? Are you chained to your desk? Is the Gestapo going to take you to a camp if you go interview? If a company, in a FREE CAPITAL MARKET, causes you this much misery why don't you just leave. Sounds like martyrdom is easier than taking the 11 seconds it would take to find a job in this market.
Get a new book.
Being forced to do something you don't want to do is slavery in my book.
Are you seriously comparing a vaccine to slavery? WTF
Many companies are doing this based upon federal mandate for "federal contractors" while others are separating employees who work with government from those who don’t and only requiring those that work government contracts to be vaccinated - other employees must be tested. Biden mandate.
You can consult a lawyer, but also keep in mind that no company would make a such a big move like this without clearing it with their lawyers first.
Slavery was legal at one time too. Women were not allowed to vote until 1920. Early US Presidents slept with slaves. Just because it is legal doesn't mean it is right. The witch hunt is also back in force again - intimidating people into getting vaccinated against their will and threatening their livelihood over it. Yes - coerce them to get vaccinated like getting people to admit to witchcraft and then 'cleanse' themselves or else lose their paychecks. Guess history repeats itself regardless of technological advancements. Mankind is its greatest enemy.
Isn't it completely legal in the US? I thought Biden pushed out a couple of new laws that tie big organisations hands.
That’s the way to do the cuts without severance. Dream company for future employees if any.
