Thread regarding Goldman Sachs layoffs

I don't want to return to the office

There is no need for it. I'm hoping the spread of the virus will push the date even further than January 18, but I'm aware that the return at some point is sadly inevitable. I've never been more productive than now and I don't understand why they're being so stubborn about forcing RTO. I'm considering looking for other employment with a remote option if they don't give us a WFH option in the future.

I haven't been going in. Using the time I would have spent commuting applying to full remote jobs. Sc--w this place.

Glad to see that 50% of staff decided to WFH despite the backward decision to RTO. "Leadership" needs to realize that labor is holding the upper hand. We stand united, always.

Everyone is still sick around where I live. I’ve had a cough for weeks now. If they send us all back in I think people are just going to get sick. They should keep people home until spring, like last year. Why send everyone back in the height of winter and flu season, makes no sense unless you want everyone sick.

Time to shave face fur and buy bigger pants. Change oil in the Subaru and zoom on in. It's time...

Wonder when they will RTO for real. Seems like news is still reporting record high cases.
