Numerous pre-sales and sales jobs on LinkedIn for SF. BUT if you are of a certain 'age' then forget being considered. I have applied to around 20 postings, most of which I was qualified for, but only 1 interview out of it. I was quickly eliminated once the 30-something hiring manager had a Zoom call with me. I guess Ageism is alive and well at SF!

As an outsider that has had a few "near-misses" with getting a job at SF, I can tell you that SF is as guilty as the rest of their Big Tech peers in the fake job posting and resume harvesting schemes; not to mention the blatant age-ism. A friend who is pretty high up in the SE organization and has been there since the "good ol' days" told me sometime back that "you can pretty much forget about getting hired here if you are middle-age, male, and/or white. And you wouldn't want to work here anyway."
That’s awful! Didn’t think it’s was in the Salesforce Ohana to be ageist
You dodged a bullet.
You aren't missing anything. This is not your grandfather's Salesforce anymore. It's a grind-to-the-rind culture now and ageism is standard practice. Keep looking elsewhere, they did you a favor by not hiring you.
