The thing that bothers me the most at State Street is that this place is too political. Has it always been that way or...?

Before the madness of the yearly layoffs and outsourcing and brining in H1B workers started in 2002.
State Street was a happy place where employees were treated as valuable assets and not an expense to be cut by any means .
I am guessing it is the same for most companies today. Because the demand for domestic tech and finance workers shrinks as we are trying to make room for global talent.
But I am too young, and too poor to retire...
