Today our store manager told us there will be a renewed focus on sales and service in the upcoming fiscal year. Once we get these stores closed and wrap up the year end, the company is going to reinvest in what works. Most stores will see an increase in payroll hours of 20-30% in order to complete tasks and have dedicated team members trained in product knowledge available at all hours to assist customers. This will be their only focus and will definitely help sales. So hang in there, better things are on the horizon.

If they were serious, they would go back to paying a shopping service to rate the stores.
What about LOD walks?
Staffing to get freight of the floor by 10 and no projects at all until after power hours.
Gotta pay to play.
lol, yeah, reinvest in service. first, you can't provide service with no employees. and second, they said we were going to be customer focused and not task oriented a few months ago, and then continued to dump thousands of price changes a week, along with the constant fixtures moves, flexing to fill the empty holes caused by 'supply chain issues', etc.
BBBY has lost relevance with consumers .
What exactly is a "corporate goon?" I am guessing that is a term a 21 year old uses It seems like anyone who says anything positive is called that and/or insulted. Why do all you negative people keep working at BBBY?
Why did they try to fix what wasn’t broke in the first place? Used to be that there was an “expert” on each side of the store at all times. More often than not their schedules overlapped so for a few hours a day there were 2 of us. Tasks AND customer service was accomplished. Pretty amazing how actually staffing a store used to work huh?
I'll believe it when I see it.
“Reinvest in what works”
Fire whoever thought it was a good idea to stop investing in what works.
20 to 30% increase of hours they know will not be used because they do not offer a competitive pay and it's hard to hire and maintain a staff
Blah blah blah 😂
