Thread regarding Arista Networks Inc. layoffs

Arista Dev's, how accurate is what Ken Duda says about quality and software testing @ Arista?

RE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TU8yNh5JCyw

How accurate is this? Does Arista really have a testbed with all of the gear running 24/7 testing all different types of code?

Wry accurate. As an intern, testing was always required and happening all the time.

Yes, We do. I am an Arista System Engineer. We have a Data Center dedicated just for testing code. How is this done? Automation and a single binary OS. As of 2021, we are running over 7000+ test daily on all our software/hardware planforms. It doesn't matter if its a point release or a major release, all of it is run through a gauntlet of environments to ensure quality is built into the EOS. Every feature for every platform.

As Ken says: "Its in our culture, quality is the most important thing. Getting it right is more important than features, ship dates and new platforms"
