I'm the pro vaxer guy that got 3 booster shots.
The 5th circuit said yea. The 6th and the 11th circuit said no way . It’s now at the 8th circuit waiting in limbo. Also a “right” leaning court so that should also be a failure for the Brandon administration.
This doesn't directly apply to the federal contractor vaccination requirement, which is what the railroads were requiring it for. That ruling is still being appealed.
What happens with those who vaccinated?
Employers can still mandate the vaccine but in doing so, they open themselves to lawsuit from side effects of vaccine. They will also have to offer additional PTO for those who contracted COVID even after taking the vaccine. Additionally, they can lose a chunk of the customer market who do not agree with the mandate.
Now they cannot hide behind the fact that it is a legal mandate. Of course they can claim they are trying to keep the workplace "safe" although the vaccinated continues to spread COVID to others. So the idea of "safe" is distorted.
That's what happens when you have a government run by old people. They are more likely to freak out over COVID, cold or flu since old folks are more prone to d1e from it. Now the system is in shambles.
Damn Straight!!!!
