Read the news today : University of Michigan just fired their PRESIDENT for dating an employee for only 2 years. Does DST have a policy like that?
Does DST fire the guilty parties for se-ual misconduct or lay them off? Seems like a layoff might be a quieter thing to do and not be as news worthy. Imagine DST in the 1980's if they had this policy - I can think of 6 top DST leaders fired for this se-ual misconduct!
If you look at an annual report from 1982 to 2000, get the names of the executive team. The look at how many of them dated and married girls from the full service area. DST should prohibit girls and top leaders from dating. Other companies do it.
Its amazing that you can't come in 3 minute late once in a while. But you can date all you want at DST, cause broken relationships and hard feelings amoung the staff you have dumped and then date others in the dept right in front of your "ex" and DST says that ok. 78
Interesting that when DST started laying off there was no WARN notice issued by them or the government. Isnt that illegal? If DST was a biolab, then they would have screwed up and been responsible for a worldwide virus. Being a financial accounting firm, they could hide their errors over the years. But their errors are massive
DST has no rules about se-ual conduct other than don't criticize anyone. If you want to date your coworker you can. Want to have s-x at work in a unused room, who cares? Want to marry someone you met at DST that has dated 10 other DST associates - go ahead its all OK by management. But when you get home, or leave DST, or start a family and the kids grown up asking about you meeting your mate - well you can't change the story then! It looks cheap and tawdry to date and dip the pen in the company inkwell.
If company leadership can not find mates outside the DST organization then its a testament to their shallowness and unsocial behavior. There are billions of women in the world, they pick from the office pool? The layoffs will continue in 2022 and into the future of course till there is not real DST left in Kansas City.
Dang. Many at the top of DST's power structure dated young girls they met at work in full service and then promoted them and even married them. This is and should be against all company rules. Those guy should have been fired. Yes thrown out of DST. They didnt reserve their jobs or their pay after that.
DST doesnt give a reason for why you are chosen to be layed off. But I am sure a number of negative issues would put you closer to the top of the layoff list. Women are DST are free to date company executives, in the open, and be their dates a company events. If the women marry the DST executive, they can stay in the company. Usually if they work closely with the exec in his department, they transfer to a different area. But they still receive complimentary treatment and are valued more.
