COO at Continental beats working in any role at CHK
Doug going to COO is like a head coach getting fired and going somewhere else to be a coordinator. Good luck I guess. He wasn’t ready for CEO here given out slow, steady, obvious decline for almost a decade under his “leadership”..
One more reason for the mass exodus once bonuses pay out.
DL is about as far from what a leader looks like as you can be. In addition, he has a record of jockeying financial catastrophe.
In England, if you bankrupt a publicly held company your name goes on a list and you are barred from running another publicly held for life. In Oklahoma, you can bankrupt a major oil company and immediately thereafter be given the reins to another one. Systemic change is sorely needed.
It’s not just DL, how many other retreads have financially destroyed oil companies, but are currently wreaking financial havoc in other companies? Waaaaaay too many. Losers have the keys to the asylum.
The law firm of K and E have to be chomping at the bit. New 9 figure pay days for 3rd and 4th rate legal services are right down the road.
He must already have placed an order at Gap Kids for 20 new button shirts size XS
