Be patient. Bill and Beau have a plan for your termination, especially if you’re heritage BBT. They can offshore the excel spreadsheet work that their minions thrive on to any of half dozen third world holes. SunTruist will blow up on its own in less than 5 years.

It could be due to the Great Resignation. A lot of people have quit.

They are holding off layoffs until they convert millions of legacy SunTrust customers to its new platform. Truist says it is still on track to deliver its promised $1.6 billion in merger-related net cost savings by year-end. Aggressive cost savings will begin early spring. Truist intends on closing another 400 branches in the first quarter. It's the calm before the storm, believe me, you don't want to let your guard down.

I think they will wait until the system merge is complete. They will need folks to handle all the issues.
