Rumors are circulating again about February cuts. Is there a way to know for sure something is coming?

Could not agree more with the response by @8smq+1eVyKQdV. I was one of those people.
Think about it, if this company is in debt - all of these people that left in December/November and even into Jan: they didn't get their 2nd half bonus, a raise, nothing. Thats a lot of savings for the company. I lost my promotion/raise, bonus, and RSU's. I was up for promotion that I was promised like 6 fking years ago. My manager actually fought for me to get this promotion, even though we were supposed to have that discussion in December, it never happened. I knew what was going on, i could sense it for the 6th time. People don't do whats right anymore. The second i said i was leaving cos of this mandate BS SUDDENLY I'M WORTH SOMETHING HOLY SH-T. I said nah. This insanity is NOT worth MY sanity. A company should care about my talents, not my fking vaccination status. I jumped on linkedin, saw some posts about hiring, asked people who knew me previously at Juniper and they scooped me right up. Walked away with 40k bump in pay (health benefits not THAT great but they sort of weigh out in a way), a bigger bonus and all sorts. Juniper under estimates your power to say, "no, I'm walking away from this unhealthy relationship"
Job market is hot right now, go get it!
Fewer silent layoffs now. I know many good folks who left last year after Juniper's cowardly decision to enforce the federal vaccine mandate. Now that's no longer the case, I expect fewer folks to leave. However the damage has been done, and there are still a few folks on my account team are actively looking to jump ship.
The way people are leaving our local Sales team we won't need any cuts. 4 in the last month alone. Anyone who is under 30, lacking in experience and success, and willing to accept below market rate pay can relax though.
It’s your cue to look outside of Juniper since it’s a job seeker’s market now. Stop sitting on your bottom and take action.
I’ve been at Juniper for ten years and always a strong performer. Always had great reviews and CDs. My group got a new leader 8 months ago and two weeks ago I was given 30 days to shape up. Gave me a list of things to fix, all of which are out of my group or control. That lines up to February. I have decided to leave for a 25% pay increase, $10K signing bonus, and a bunch of shares. I feel like Juniper wants to push out those who are not diverse enough, and I am a foreigner working in the US. Go figure.
I could use some reassurance since the last thing I need to do right now is worry about more cuts.
