Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Really quiet on the layoffs front

Is this good news or should we be preparing for a storm?

How wise you are! March 1 was round 1 of 2 part layoffs ....and all the senior leaders remain.

And the cycle continues. Jim needs to go for the good of the company. If not it’s the same old story we have all been through. Sales can’t sell old non cloud product, spin the subscription story to the market. Blame product and engineering for not delivering and flip flop on strategy every 3 months. Restructure every leader that could lead out of the company and keep the ones that have no ba--s to stand up to Jim. The later part needs to stop to bring Avaya to a point it can steam forward without Jim. If not it’s another round of welcome new VPs, push old
Product with a spin, cut staff to make the numbers look good. Rinse and repeat. Oh and hope for M&A and sell that market share.

I'm personally leaning toward the second one.
