Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

"Agile"

I read this Wells Fargo thread and had to laugh. It must be the same everywhere in big companies trying to be "agile".

My experience with being "agile" at MetLife has been this:

  1. Send everyone (except leadership) to lengthy expensive training sessions
  2. Make everyone (except leadership) get tested to be certified
  3. Return to business as usual because leadership doesn't get agile and cant be bothered understanding how to do something new
