Thread regarding Nestle layoffs

Layoffs at Purina

Purina PetCare parent Nestlé is planning cuts at one of its downtown offices, according to a recent filing with the state.
A plan for "reorganizing" the office calls for layoffs, reassignments or relocation of 138 employees currently reporting to 100 North Broadway. The company did not say exactly how many employees are to be laid off. The company says more than 500 employees report to the site.

Anybody know why they did not just absorb Essentia into the current sales force? We have people doing the same job in the same area. Makes zero sense.

There is a lot redundancy with Essentia coming over no doubt about it.

Hearing Nestle field sales will be effected. Trying to incorporate the Essentia people in. Probably eliminate who is paid the most to cut redundancy.

this is just the beginning for whats to come in 2022. They have "absorbed" 3rd party water company to start "helping" the current sales force. We all know what that means. We've been through this in the last 5-6 years.
