If you are US based - avoid avoid avoid.. Run far away from that snake's pit. The Europeans which are running this outfit are piece of work.. If they run EU in the same manner nothing good expects them.

Also unifying different operations roles under one roof. And centralizing the data management team has helped a lot.
I am very skeptical of this assertion. See the problem really is the deep distrust and double standards applied by the Europeans (Swedish management) to the Americans. Canadians found a way to protect themselves from this - their engineers are heavily siloed. But the American team of engineers does not have critical mass and is geographically dispersed. So if you are an American think twice before joining Qlik becuase there is a chance that you will be wasting your time with meaningless work. You are not going to be trusted to be given something substantial. Stay away from this company which is a strange beast with weird corporate culture and incompetent management. BTW, speaking of management , how could this company change if the top management is still the same and I know they are very incompetent and some are even unprofessional.
Only really the Finance team is silo’d. There’s been a lot of improvement in cross collaboration elsewhere. Also unifying different operations roles under one roof. And centralizing the data management team has helped a lot.
I worked for a company once that makes leaving a very positive Glassdoor review part of their onboarding for new employees. Most of these are fresh grads, willing to do 'whatever' in this exciting new role. Lots of companies do similar, either having their new hires do it, or hiring others to do it. But try to prove it. That's the double-edged sword of anonymity.
But I’ve seen significantly progress in overcoming those silos since I started at the beginning of 2021.
Really? Good for you. Just less than 2 years ago Qlik's reputation on Glassdoor was 3.2. Now it is 4.0. I am curious how many new employees the Qlik management forced to leave positive reviews for the company. Glassdoor should disallow employees to leave reviews for the company they are working for currently. This can introduce significant bias and possibility to di---e the result..
I agree Qlik is silo’d. But I’ve seen significantly progress in overcoming those silos since I started at the beginning of 2021.
What do you see that you think they are hypocrites? What sector of the business do you work in?
