DST X-mas bonuses? Tyson is giving 50 MILLION in bonus to low end workers

Will DST give us a Xmas bonus this year? After all most of us are 4 year college grads, with a good mind and thats in demand nowdays. Tyson is giving 50 MILLION DOLLARS to the meatcutters in the plants as Xmas bonuses. What is DST's plan?

Ever since I left DST I've gotten two bonuses a year, one for Christmas and one I receive along with my annual merit increase.

Don't spend a second more at DST/SS&C than you absolutely have to. It's worth it to find better.

DST is dead. Why people keep posting in the past is crazy. You were sold down the river. You work for a group that has the same opinion of what you do and the value you have for them. Think folks in NY think highly of you? Just look at your raise/bonus/etc.

If anyone here thinks that in the good old days, the TOMS were great people and cared about you - then think again! DST could have done an employee buyout, or other methods of adapting. The TOMS cared about their raking in of many many millions of dollars in stock and awards thrown at them in a huge way buy the "compensation committee". Have any of you looked at the SEC reports over the years showing the millions they got each and every year? Huge stock grants too. The TOMS are now billionaires and could care less about you. Did they ever invite DST staff to their resort stays in Colorado? Or raise the minimum wage at DST across the board like GOOGLE? No the abuse came from the TOP DOWN. The Mistreatment was allowed from the TOP DOWN. Those that relish the past are slightly off their rockers!

There is a trend called the "great resignation". People walking off good jobs to awaitign jobs that are ever BETTER! This is what the USA's workers have been waiting for! Company "firings" are at all time lows as they cannot replace anyone they fire. So the THREAT OF YOUR SUPERVISOR FIRING YOU, the threat long held over your head is GONE! DST will not PAY for the sweatshop methods they employed for decades! The Managers may actually have to do the work of people who quit! Horray!

In eleven years at DST I never, ever got a bonus.

In my new job I get two a year, and I can count on them like clockwork. It's glorious.

No bonus is worth staying for if your direct manager "fabricates" issues with your work performance. So I left DST. During the "exit interview" I decided to play HIS game! Yes for the first time at DST (and the last time) I fabricated lies about my manager's performance as a reason for my leaving. I hear H.R. is keeping a close watch on him now. As others leave soon they will do as I did. Maybe he will be fired!

You know the answer to the question. This business can survive without you. Your talents are not valued by management and they view you as replaceable. The Tyson employees are generally low wage and the company runs because of their labour. Tyson knows this and chooses to honor their employees with a bonus since they are the keys to success.

Ah, lets see... if the "Tom's" were still working at DST they would get millions in year-end deferred compensation bonuses and be given more huge stock option awards. The rest of us at DST...well let see..... a $20 gift card to the plaza. Thats the way it was! And people claim it was "the good old days". Then in January you hold your breath for the big 3% salary raise you might get this year. That was less than the inflation rate! So you got a decrease in annual earning power. The "good old days"? Ha!
